Surplus & Unclaimed Funds Recovery

There may be money owed to you — and no one's told you yet.

Annama Asset Recovery helps identify and recover funds that may be owed to individuals, families, businesses, estates, and former property owners.

What Funds Do We Recover?

These funds can originate from a variety of sources, including court proceedings, sheriff's sales, foreclosure-related matters, tax sales, excess proceeds, overpayments, refunds, unclaimed county-held funds, and other situations where money is being held pending a valid claim.

Every situation is different. Public records may indicate that funds exist, but additional research is often required to determine who may be entitled to recover them.

What We Look For

We research publicly available county records to identify funds that may be available for claim.

Depending on the county and circumstances, these funds may be connected to court cases, sheriff's sales, foreclosure surplus, tax foreclosure overages, refunds, deposits, excess proceeds, or other county-held funds that have not yet been claimed by the rightful party.

Because every county maintains records differently, each potential claim requires individual review and verification.

Who We Help

We work with individuals, families, heirs, estates, former property owners, and businesses who may have money being held by a county or government office.

In many cases, the person entitled to the funds has no idea the money exists. Public records may contain limited information, making research and verification an important part of the process.

Where Does This Money Come From?

County governments, courts, sheriff's offices, and other public agencies occasionally hold funds that belong to private individuals or organizations.

These funds can arise for many reasons. A court case may result in funds being deposited and never claimed. A sheriff's sale may generate excess proceeds. A property-related matter may leave money remaining after obligations are satisfied. In other situations, refunds, deposits, or other payments may remain unclaimed for years.

The specific circumstances vary from case to case. What they all have in common is that someone may have a legal right to funds that are currently being held by a public agency.

Why Aren't These Funds Already Claimed?

Many people assume that if money belonged to them, someone would contact them directly. Unfortunately, that isn't always what happens.

People move, change phone numbers, lose paperwork, experience life events, or simply don't know where to look. Public records often contain only limited information, and county offices are not always able to actively track down every person who may be entitled to funds.

As a result, money can remain unclaimed for months or even years while the rightful owner remains unaware it exists. Annama Asset Recovery helps identify potential claims through public records and assists clients in understanding and navigating the recovery process.

How It Works

A straightforward, four-step process from first contact to funds in your hands.

01

You submit your information

Complete the short form with a few basic details about your situation. Once submitted, we'll begin reviewing your case to determine whether unclaimed funds may be available. It only takes a couple of minutes to get started.

02

We verify the funds exist

We confirm every potential claim by contacting the appropriate county or holding agency to obtain the most current records. We then verify the status of the funds and confirm that the claim is still available before moving forward with your case.

03

We sign a simple agreement

Once your claim has been verified, we'll sign a straightforward agreement outlining the recovery process and fee. Our fee is 10% of the funds you recover and is only due 10 days after you receive your check. There are no upfront costs and no fees if your funds aren't successfully recovered.

04

We file the claim and you get paid

We prepare and submit the required paperwork, communicate with the appropriate county, court, or holding agency, and keep you informed throughout the process. Once your claim is approved, the funds are issued directly to you.
